Lenovo announces LISSA - A Gen-AI feature that recommends other in-house services for IT businesses to achieve decarbonization

LISSA is fundamentally a Gen-AI-powered feature designed to assist enrolled customers by investigating and gathering essential information about their company. This is followed by providing actionable sustainability insights, typically including estimated emissions and the impact, along with recommended customized solutions to help achieve sustainability goals.

Since this service is created by Lenovo, the customized solutions revolve around the brand's other offerings such as TruScale Device as a Service (DaaS) and Asset Recovery. They also include general industry practices like packaging efficiencies, lower-carbon shipping options, lifecycle extensions, certified refurbishment, and more.

Recent surveys indicate that 87% of executives believe AI can unlock insights into issues like Global Greenhouse Gas (GHG) mitigation and other climate concerns through new pathways. With Lenovo LISSA, the brand is confident it can help various IT businesses realize this potential.
