ASUS joins Medical Fair Asia 2024 with loads of AI-driven solution showcases

ASUS has announced they will be participating in the Medical Fair Asia 2024 healthcare exhibition.

As one of the key players within the smart healthcare sector, the brand has not stopped exploring innovative solutions that power some of the most advanced gear and equipment to drive the healthcare market into the next era.

Medical Wearables

The new VivoWatch 6 Aero is finally showcased to the public with its 1.1-inch AMOLED screen displaying key fitness and well-being elements like blood pressure and ECG measurements, sleep quality tracking, and a Relaxation Index.

Powered by medical-grade ECG and PPG sensors, not only it is built to last but ASUS will also launch a new AI Coaching Platform for the VivoWatch series in Q4 2024 that will compile users' vital data and daily information into a comprehensive health profile, leveraging AI algorithms to provide personalized health insights and detect potential risks, allowing users to take proactive steps to improve their wellness.

Medical AI Solutions

As for large-scale professional settings, the new ASUS EndoAim claims the spotlight with its AI-powered endoscopy solution.

Having the honor of being awarded the "Best AI-Assisted Software Solution" at the 2024 MedTech Breakthrough Awards, EndoAim packs cutting-edge technology that allows for precise, real-time detection of all types of polyps, including those that might typically go unnoticed.

By categorizing polyps into adenoma and non-adenoma types with unprecedented accuracy, healthcare providers will be able to make more informed and timely decisions.

Another standout product is the ASUS LU800 series handheld ultrasound device, which features a wireless design and a 128-channel beamformer for Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS).

This lightweight device extends the accessibility of ultrasound diagnostics to locations such as ambulances or rural areas, improving overall efficiency. The integration of AI reduces scan time by enabling rapid measurements, and its Voice Control function lets physicians manage ultrasound operations hands-free. Additionally, the Smart Preset feature uses AI to optimize images with a single click, ensuring accurate diagnoses.

Medical Imaging

ASUS also showcased the MH3281A and MH2441A clinical monitors, designed for medical imaging.

The MH3281A is equipped with a 31.5-inch 8 MP OLED display, while the MH2441A offers a 23.8-inch 3.6 MP IPS panel. Both models feature anti-glare, low-reflection coatings and comply with the DICOM Part 14 standard.

Listed as Class 1 Devices by the US FDA, these monitors are factory pre-calibrated with JND < 10% and come with ASUS's exclusive DICOM Preset mode, which adjusts the DICOM curve according to ambient lighting, ensuring long-term accuracy for radiology and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) applications.
